The Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC hosts cultural heritage preservation experts

Representatives from 30 leading universities and institutions active in research and education for the protection of cultural heritage gathered at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC from October 21-22, 2019. The meeting focused on possibilities for cooperation, resource sharing between institutions and establishing collaborative research in critical areas for the protection of cultural heritage. The discussion was divided into three thematic blocks: Education of a new generation of cultural heritage professionals; collections and communities;  and the future of African museums. The Polish Academy of Sciences was represented by Dr. hab. Ɓukasz Bratasz, professor at IKiFP PAN.
