Prof. Dr. hab. Roman Kozłowski and Dr. hab. Łukasz Bratasz, the authors of the concept of climate control in the emerging National Archives warehouse, visited the construction site of the new building. According to their guidelines, it will be a passive building that will use 15 times less energy compared to other facilities of this type in Poland. The low temperature maintained in it will significantly extend the duration of stored collections. This will be achieved without the support of air conditioning systems, only through the relevant building design. We are glad that the works have already reached such an advanced stage. This is a very important step on the path to sustainable resource management, which is why we congratulate the National Museum in Krakow!
