“Time for a green museum and a green archive!” calls in Łukasz Bratasz in an interview for the Polish press

The newspaper “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” has published an extensive interview with the leader of our group, Dr. Bratasz. The interest of the press was aroused by the field of science itself – heritage science – which is not yet a recognizable branch in Poland. We have the ambition to change it!

In order not to reveal too much: after explaining where the demand for the research we are conducting comes from and what questions we are trying to answer, Dr. Bratasz described the greatest challenges in the field of heritage science. He pointed out that the prevention of risks to museum collections cannot be at the expense of the environment – hence the adjective “green”.

Readers can find out what projects our team, built thanks to funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA, is currently implementing – including the recently started GRIEG-Craquelure project focusing on a crack patterns covering paintings.
