There is only a week left to apply for a Research Assistant position in our group! Right now we are looking for a person that will work on the development of a website for quantitative risk analysis of historic objects.
The developed software is a web-based tool, HERIe, supporting decision-making processes related to the conditions during exhibition and storing collections. It is addressed to conservators, curators and collection managers. The software tool, designed as an integrated platform based on the client-server architecture, will enable a quantitative risk assessment of objects loss of value, taking into account various risk agents such as incorrect environmental parameters (temperature, relative humidity, light intensity, etc.), fire or deposition of particles on architectural surfaces.
The Research Assistant will be responsible for:
- ·developing and modifying the HERIe module to calculate the risk of incorrect temperature and relative humidity,
- customization and improvement of the functionality of the HERIe module taking into account new requirements and suggestions of users,
- development of other modules for risk assessment related to physical processes.
