Although the restoration work of the Veit Stoss’s altar in St. Mary’s Basilica in Krakow ended in February this year, the official ceremonies celebrating this important, when it comes to religious and conservation aspects, success took place on August 15.

Conservation process lasted 6 years and was associated with multi-million costs. It was preceded by an inventory with the use of 3D laser scanning.

Prof. Dr hab. Roman Kozłowski represented our group at the official ceremony, as the author, together with Prof. Dr. hab. Łukasz Bratasz, of the policy on climate management in altar’s environment. It was planned with the greatest care for the preservation of one of the most valuable sculpture monuments in our country, and at the same time for the sustainable use of energy and resources.

We are happy to be able to provide expertise in such important decisions, the impact of which will be experienced by future generations!
