The beautiful spring weather was an opportunity for a “field trip” to expand our knowledge and sensitivity by visiting the local cultural heritage.
The choice of the date was not accidental, because as the goal of the trip we chose the Camaldolese Hermit Monastery in Bielany, Krakow – due to the strict monastic rule closed to women during the year, except for 12 days in the calendar. Under the leadership of Prof. Roman Kozłowski, we walked through the Wolski Forest towards the monastery buildings, where we saw the facade and interior of a beautiful Baroque church, as well as paintings on canvas by a master from the Venetian school – Tommaso Dolabella.
By sharing with you a photo report from the trip, we encourage you to visit this beautiful place on the map of Krakow!
