The warm September sun is the perfect aura for group integration!
This year we decided to visit the treasures of the Świętokrzyskie area, and we started on a high note by visiting the recently opened Archaeological Museum in Wiślica, where the undisputed gem is the Romanesque floor, according to historians, depicting figures of princes from the Polish Piast dynasty. Then we went to Opatów and Tarłów, where in the interiors of the local churches we admired the Renaissance tombstone bas-relief called Lament Opatowski by Bartolomme Berrecci’s workshop and Baroque stuccos with the danse macabre motif. The finale of our trip was no less spectacular, thanks to moving to the Neolithic flint mines open to visitors as part of the Krzemionki Archaeological Museum.
Our journey through time captured in these photographs does not fully reflect our impressions, so we recommend a trip down the Vistula river to experience it yourself.
