We are very pleased with the chance our colleague Magdalena Soboń received! The National Science Center granted her funding to run the project in the 19th edition of the PRELUDIUM competition.
The research topic will be Development of rational environmental guidelines for short-term religious, cultural and commercial events in historic buildings.
The developed guidelines will help protect the sculptures, especially those made of lime wood – the most popular sculptural material in Poland, against cracking associated with climate fluctuations.
Magda will be supported by Dr. hab. Łukasz Bratasz, group leader, who will contribute with his extensive knowledge and experience.
We are sure that this is a promising introduction to the career of another scientist in our young field!
