Two missions, one city

From 14th to 22nd of September, our team was in Oslo on two missions: to attend the ICOM-CC Triennial Conference Oslo 2026 and to deliver a two-day HERIe workshop.

During the ICOM-CC Triennial Conference, two posters were presented by our team members Nefeli Avgerou and Magdalena Soboń, titled ‘The crizzling of historical glass’ and ‘Impact of dynamic environmental variations on risk of fracture in massive cultural objects’, respectively. Our team leader, Łukasz Bratasz, also presented the HERIe decision support platform modules developed within the GoGreen project, as part of the ‘Innovations for Green Conservation Practices’ technical visit of the conference.

After several intense days in Oslo, we concluded our visit with a two-day HERIe workshop at the Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (NIKU).

Overall, we had a very nice time in Oslo—productive sessions, inspiring discussions, and a warm welcome from our Norwegian colleagues made the trip both scientifically rewarding and personally enjoyable.
