Last week, Marcin Bury and Sonia Bujok presented their results at the XXIV conference Chemical Analysis in the Protection of Heritage Objects (https://analizazabytkow.pl/) organised by the Biological and Chemical Research Centre at the University of Warsaw.
Marcin shared the results of his latest publication on the development of cracks in canvas paintings induced by changes in relative humidity, and Sonia presented a step-by-step protocol for decision-making regarding the mild cleaning of heritage PVC objects, which was created based on research conducted in cooperation with scientists from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University and the NanoBioMedical Centre in PoznaĆ.
We are also thrilled to announce that our HERIe preventive conservation platform will be officially included in the E-RIHS.PL offer within DIGILAB next year, and we will inform you about the form of offered services soon!

The presented research is carried out within the Horizon2020 GoGreen project and the Polish-Slovenian project PVCare: Preventive conservation strategies for poly(vinyl chloride) objects financed by the NCN National Science Centre.
