As you might have realized from previous posts, we were eager for this day to arrive! With yesterday’s video conference, we officially launched the GRIEG project. The meeting was attended by project partners representing:
- the Cultural Heritage Research Group at the Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow,
- Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow,
- Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Scientists from the Getty Conservation Institute were also in attendance to offer insight and expertise for tasks related to sample preparation and measuring mechanical properties.
All information about the GRIEG project will be published on the dedicated subpage.
