On November 26, the conference ‘Internationability of Polish Science and Higher Education’ was held in Warsaw to summarize activities initiated by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) since its establishment on October 1, 2017. The meeting was an opportunity for creative, inspiring discussion between outstanding Polish scientists from various and normally distant fields as well as equally talented foreign researchers, who were brought to Poland as a result of NAWA initiatives.
“I hope that introducing the neologism – internationability – into the lexicon has encouraged the conference participants to reflect on the opportunities offered by international cooperation” said Agnieszka Stefaniak-Hrycko, NAWA Deputy Director.
Our group, also built thanks to finances provided by NAWA, was represented by Dr. hab. Łukasz Bratasz, winner of the first edition of the Polish Returns programme.
